Our Doctors

Here is some information about the doctors of WVEC.

      Drs. Chris Stansbury and Jeff Sinclair were born and raised in Charleston, WV and attended John Adams Junior High and George Washington High School together.  Dr. Stansbury graduated from GWHS in 1993 followed by Dr. Sinclair in 1994.  They went their separate ways after high school and and after 14 years of education, family, and work experiences, they ran into each other in southeast Virginia in 2008.  It turned out that they both shared the desire to return to WV and open a practice one day.  After 2+ years of talking and planning, WVEC was born and both doctors were able to return to the city and state that they love.

      Then, in the fall of 2011, plans were formulated to merge WV Eye Consultants with Charleston Eye Care (CEC).  CEC was operated by Dr. Jim Caudill, a fellowship-trained cornea specialist, and his associate, Dr. Scott Henry.  Now, the four doctors operate five different clinics in four cities all across southern West Virginia.
