Our Ophthalmic Assistants aid our Ophthalmologists and Optometrists by obtaining medical records, performing preliminary eye functioning testing and explaining to patients about medication or procedures. Our Ophthalmic Assistants work closely with our doctors, gathering patient information necessary to complete a diagnosis.
Our Contact Lens Technicians work directly with our Optometrists, performing various clinical duties involving contact lens and patient care. They assist with all fitting procedures with our patients.
Our Surgical Counselors organize and maintain an active surgery schedule for our Ophthalmologists. They are responsible for meeting with our patients, scheduling the surgery, discussing in detail what the patient will go through and working with our various hospitals to ensure everything is prepped for surgery day.
Our Opticians create prescription eye glasses for our patients. They complete consultations with each patient, and ensure all glasses are fit specifically to each patient through fitting procedures.
Our Front Desk team members greet all patients, schedule appointments, collect co-payments, and complete appointment reminders. They are also responsible for answering and routing calls, making transactions and keeping paper work organized.
Our Call Center team members handle all incoming and outgoing patient calls. They are responsible for maintaining our doctor’s schedules, scheduling patient appointments, mailing new patient packets, ensuring all patient notes are accurate for each appointment.
Our Billers are responsible for processing and submitting bills to insurance companies and patients for medical services. They are responsible for auditing and submitting claims for patient visits, diagnoses, and medical procedures to insurance companies, patients and other payers. They also call insurance companies to get authorization for procedures in order to guarantee the claim will be paid once submitted.
