Dr. Brian Griffith earned his Bachelor of Arts from Washington and Jefferson College in Pennsylvania, and his Medical Degree from West Virginia University in 1999. He completed an internship with Charleston Area Medical Center in Internal Medicine, which was then followed by an ophthalmic surgery residency at the West Virginia Eye Institute in 2003. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is board certified. Dr. Griffith’s specialty is comprehensive Ophthalmology with a focus on cataract surgery, glaucoma laser and surgical procedures, pediatric exams and strabismus surgery and minor eyelid surgery. He currently serves as a clinical assistant professor at the West Virginia University School of Medicine, and is an active member of the West Virginia Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, Kanawha Ophthalmic Society and Kanawha Medical Society.

A native of West Virginia, Doctor Griffith currently resides in Charleston with his wife and daughter. He enjoys spending his free time fly fishing, playing basketball and traveling.
