The Crew – Tina, Amanda, Brian, Stephani, Jeannie, Renee and Our Elf Mocha. Thanks to my son Dylan for taking the picture and helping out this evening.

It never ceases to amaze me how thoughtful and caring our staff is at WV Eye.  The past few weeks, two of our techs, Brian and Amanda have been organizing a coat distribution for the homeless in Downtown Charleston, not to far from our office.  Our employees and families came together and  collected several boxes full of warm coats, blankets, scarves, hats and gloves.   Our group wanted to provide more that just warmth though.  They wanted to show how much they care for these forgotten souls.  We went out and set up in front of the Cross Roads Shelter with all that was donated, hot coco, cookies and candy in hand and offer it to all that was in need.

This was a humbling experience that I will not forget and I am blessed to have had the opportunity to serve with our wonderful staff.  We truly love getting out and connecting to everyone in our community.  Thank You to the Charleston Police for escorting us and making sure we were safe, you guys are the best.  We also had an awesome elf helping, Mocha my sons German Shepherd.  I cannot wait to see what our staff organizes for next year!
